#Rethink Banking Experience #Millennials

 

Overview

Make — a reimagined banking experience mobile application by Kasikorn Bank (KBank). With technical constraints of current mobile banking application (KPLUS) using the old technology, this leads a slow pace for innovation and change. Moreover, there is low penetration of Millennials with over 5.6 million users. This brings new opportunities to propose new financial service to match with lifestyle as well as explore new technology for rapid changing consumer behaviours.

Impact

An experimental financial management application with three never-seen-before features; helping Millennials manage their money more efficiently and easier. This has resulted with over 80K+ downloads on App Store and Play Store in Thailand after launch for 4 months.

How might we help Millennials better manage their budgets efficiently whilst living life to the fullest?

Ideation & Design

 

To solve users’ pain points, our team and I ideate new features based on synthesised user insights which bring three never-seen-before feature to match with new generation lifestyle. Also, I explore new interaction of payment to humanise banking experience more intuitive and playful corresponding to their behaviour.

Design Outcome

 

Make by KBank helps you manage your money more efficiently which tailors to the lifestyle of the new generation beyond the usual financial activities. Reimagine your experience with one bank account and these 3 never-before-seen features: Cloud pocket, Pop Pay and Chat Banking.
